  • 2007 Wrap Up

    1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? Had a baby!

    2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't think I had any

    3. Did anyone close to you give birth? A few old friends from high school

    4. Did anyone close to you die? My Grandma in November, and my Grampie in March

    5. What countries did you visit? None, besides Canada.

    6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? We want to get control over our finances, that's about it.

    7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? July 29th, the day our little Kaylee was born.

    8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Becoming a Mom!

    9. What was your biggest failure? No failures I think, just movin on up

    10. Did you suffer illness or injury? no

    11. What was the best thing you bought? A baby swing. lol

    12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Mike. He has been my biggest and best friend, every year since I met him (since 2001!!) but he really helped me through everything this year, ups and downs.

    13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Nobody really.

    14. Where did most of your money go? Mortgage, Baby things, CHRISTMAS. ugh.

    15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Holding Kaylee in my arms!!

    16. What song will always remind you of 2007? From this moment....I know it's old, but it hits home.

    17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder? Last year this time was when we found out we were expecting Kaylee.. and we were nervous and scared and happy.. this year we have her and we're happy!

    ii. thinner or fatter? Same size.. i've lost the baby weight! Now just gotta lose that extra weight from the past five years of not taking care of myself.

    iii. richer or poorer? Richer

    18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Working Out

    19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Watching Reality TV shows.

    20. How will you be spending Christmas? With my two most favorite people in the world, and our cat.

    22. Did you fall in love in 2007? Yup, with my daughter.

    24. What was your favorite TV program? Kid Nation. lol. House, Heroes, Prison Break

    25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No, hate is such a strong word!!

    26. What was the best book you read? Atlas Shrugged

    27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Andre Rieu
    28. What did you want and get? Adam Sandlers new movies!
    29. What did you want and not get? an engagement ring.. LOL

    30. What was your favorite film of this year?  Little Miss Sunshine.

    31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old? I hung out with my sister, Mike, Voytek and Kaylee. We didn';t do much, just hung out. We had a birthday thing with our friends Abe and Kellina the week before and got drunk and played poker. Kellina won all my money. lol

    32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Less drama.

    33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? Maternity Clothes. Blech.

    34. What kept you sane? Mike.

    35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Adam Sandler, yum

    36. What political issue stirred you the most? The media's dramatization of cops doing their jobs.

    37. Who did you miss? Friends. Alex, Alise, Sam, Jay. The usual suspects. We need to commit to friendships this new year I think!

    38. Who was the best new person you met? Melanie. I know we met in 2006, but we didn't really become friends until this year, and I wish we lived closer so I could spend more time with her!

    39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:Being a  Mom comes naturally.
