  • I Splurged and bought a pair for Kaylee. They'll be her Valentines gift from her Dad and Mom.  I don't really care how much they cost I just really wanted to buy them for her!! bad mama.... lol

    What's new?

    How is January looking for you and your children?

    Kaylee has started saying bababababa and mamamamamma. wow. I sometimes feel like my heart is going to explode with overflowing love for her.


    Mike and I have all the supplies bought for our downstairs living room... just waiting on the drywall to be delivered and then we'll install the recessed lighting, paint the walls and throw down new laminate flooring.
    I can't wait to have this room down so Kaylee can have a play room. It's going to be great.

    Busy week this week with friends and family, and the electrician. Mike and I are booked solid until Sunday. Busy Bees! :)

    Our friends in Airdrie are expecting their son in a few short weeks, I can't wait to meet this little boy. We're planning a trip out that way but it may have to wait until May or later.

  • Time for an update....

    2007--> I discovered so many new and wonderful emotions that I never knew I was capable of feeling!! Becoming a Mother was the single most monumental thing that happened this year! Mike and I really came to know the meaning of commitment, becoming parents and home owners within 6 months of each other! 2007 probably was the best year of my life!!

    Mike and I aren't ones for New Years Resolutions, however this year (after nearly five years together) we've decided to finally set a BUDGET!! ... That is really all we wanted to set as a goal for ourselves this year, and we're ten days in and doing alright.. so far!

    I've also been thinking about connection. I know that over the last year I've sort of slipped off the radar, and really I've become a terrible friend!! For 2008,  I really want to reconnect and get to know everyone again!

    I should get going, the dishes are calling my name and I need to get dinner started shortly; I hope you all are doing great an enjoying this lovely weather we're having, (Snow on the island.....)
